Our Passion
For more than a decade, our lives have been shaped by a genuine love for Miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds.
Based in Melbourne, we are a small, family-based, registered breeder dedicated to raising dachshunds with beautiful temperaments, thoughtful pedigrees and the very best start in life.
Over the years, experience has taught us that responsible breeding is not about producing more puppies. It is about patience, careful decisions and knowing each of our dogs as an individual.
For us, every litter has a purpose, every pairing is considered, and every puppy is raised as one of our own.

OUR HERITAGE
Rooted in Japanese Bloodlines
The foundation of our breeding program comes from Japanese bloodlines.
Our breeding lines have been developed from dachshunds originating from Japan, with pedigree documentation from the Japan Kennel Club (JKC).
We value knowing where our dogs come from. Pedigree, lineage and the generations behind each dachshund are an important part of the decisions we make when planning for the future.
Our Japanese bloodlines are not simply something we mention on paper — they are part of the story behind the dachshunds we raise today.
Japanese heritage. Melbourne raised.
RAISED AT HOME
Family First. Always.
Our dachshunds are family before they are ever part of a breeding program.
They share our home, our routines and our everyday lives. Our puppies are born and raised in a family environment, surrounded by the familiar sounds, people, handling and experiences that come with daily life.
We believe those early weeks matter enormously.
By raising our puppies closely alongside us, we are able to watch their personalities develop, understand their individual needs and gently introduce them to the world they will eventually become part of.
We don't want our puppies simply to leave us healthy.
We want them to leave us curious, confident, loved and ready for family life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Breeding With Intention
We believe good breeding begins long before a litter is born.
Every breeding decision is considered with the next generation in mind. We look beyond appearance alone, placing importance on health, temperament, pedigree, compatibility and the qualities each parent may contribute to their puppies.
We don't breed simply because we can.
We breed when we believe the pairing is right.
Our aim is not to produce puppies in volume, but to continue raising Miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds we can genuinely be proud of — dogs that are as wonderful to live with as they are beautiful to look at.

WELFARE
Fewer Litters. More Care.
We intentionally keep our breeding program small.
Our mothers have no more than one litter per year. We believe pregnancy, birth and raising puppies place real demands on a mother, and her wellbeing should never be secondary to producing another litter.
Between litters, our girls are given the time they deserve to rest, recover and simply enjoy life as part of our family.
This means we welcome fewer puppies each year.
And that's a choice we're proud to make.
For us, responsible breeding isn't measured by how many puppies we produce, but by the care behind every puppy we bring into the world.
THE FIRST WEEKS
Raised With Us, From the Very Beginning
A puppy's first weeks help shape the dog they will become.
From their earliest days beside their mother, our puppies receive close individual attention and become accustomed to gentle human interaction and the everyday rhythm of a home.
As they grow, their world grows with them.
New sounds. New surfaces. New people. Play. Handling. Exploration. Rest.
We introduce experiences gradually and appropriately, giving each puppy the confidence to discover the world at their own pace.
By the time they are ready to begin life with their new families, our hope is that they leave with more than a healthy start — they leave with a strong foundation for the life ahead.
FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS
Choosing to breed a puppy also means accepting responsibility for where that puppy's story continues.
We take the time to learn about prospective families because finding the right home matters to us. A dachshund is not a short-term decision, and we want every puppy we raise to become a deeply loved member of their future family.
We also believe the relationship between breeder and family shouldn't end on collection day.
The puppies may eventually leave our home, but they will always remain part of our story.
